Only 8% of residents of the Kirov region rate their work as "ten out of ten."

      The average job satisfaction among residents of the Volga Federal District, including Kirov Region, is only 5.3 points out of 10, according to a press release from hh.ru. This data is presented in a study conducted by one of the largest online job search platforms.

      Only 8% of respondents rated their work as excellent. Meanwhile, 27% gave low scores—between 1 and 3. High ratings (from 8 to 10) were given by 22% of participants. Men, on average, are less satisfied with their jobs than women: 5.1 versus 5.4.

      Young professionals aged 18–24 evaluate their working conditions the best — 5.3 points, and 10 out of 10 of them rated their work as excellent. Among employees over 55, only 6% gave the maximum score, and the average for this age group was just 4.5.

      Professionally, the most satisfied with their jobs are HR specialists (average 6 points), science and education workers (5.8), and retail employees (5.7). The least satisfied are lawyers, procurement specialists, security personnel, and arts and media representatives, with an average of 4.7.

      The most important aspects of work for residents of the region are teamwork and atmosphere — noted by 41% of respondents. The second is working conditions (34%), and the third is salary (33%). Additionally, 29% enjoy their job duties, 22% positively evaluate management and the company's reputation. Meanwhile, 7% said they are completely dissatisfied with everything.

      Differences also exist across industries. Construction workers and real estate specialists value teamwork most (49%), tourism and catering employees prioritize working conditions (50%), and manual workers value income (48%). Medical professionals and pharmacists most often feel their work significantly benefits society (37%), while HR specialists see their work as promising (12%).

      The least valued aspects by residents of the district are the values conveyed by companies—their importance was noted by only 3% of participants. Career growth matters to 7%, social benefits to 17%, and stability, in terms of job security, to 20%.
