Activists told Rakhim Azimov that their group organized regular humanitarian aid collections: medicines, food, clothing, building materials, and tools. The movement now numbers over 200 people—residents of Slobodskoy and the Slobodskoy district. In addition to collecting humanitarian aid, volunteers knit camouflage nets, sew protective suits, helmets, stretchers, clothing, and also produce trench candles. Since spring 2023, the group has been located in the assembly hall of the city administration. As the movement’s leader, Tatyana Karpova, noted, for most activists, this is not just community work but an opportunity to help their loved ones: "Many of our volunteers have sons, grandfathers, and husbands at the front. For them, it’s a kind of escape—to distract themselves from the long wait for news from their relatives and to do something useful for our guys. We’ve calculated: since the beginning of 2023, we have produced and sent nearly 30,000 square meters of camouflage nets to the front." Rakhim Azimov emphasized: "Volunteers do great work helping our fighters! This is truly an important cause, confirming the unity and selflessness of Russians. And, of course, we will continue to help all those willing to spend their time and effort contributing to the support of our SVO participants." Slobodskoy volunteers turned to Rakhim Azimov for assistance. The deputy decided to allocate one million rubles from extrabudgetary funds to purchase the necessary materials and equipment for their work.
