In Kirov, a man was detained for attempting to steal coffee from a store twice.

The incident occurred on Lenin Street. Around 6 p.m., the Russian National Guard received an alarm signal from one of the stores. The arriving security patrol found a 57-year-old resident of Kirov attempting to steal three cans of coffee worth over 800 rubles, hiding them in his pockets and bypassing the checkout area.

It turned out this was not the man's first "trip" for free coffee. Reviewing footage from surveillance cameras, the staff discovered that he had previously stolen coffee from the same store — four days before his arrest, he had taken four cans worth over 750 rubles.

According to the National Guard, the Kirov resident had been repeatedly fined for minor thefts. The offender was handed over to the police for further investigation.
