It has been reported that parents submitted nearly 920,000 applications through the "Gosuslugi" portal. This is 10% more than last year.
In many regions, the timing of the application affects admission opportunities. The system allowed pre-filling the application and submitting it at the appropriate moment. More than half of parents took advantage of this feature.
Among future first graders, 52% are boys and 48% are girls. The most applications were submitted in Saint Petersburg, Sverdlovsk Region, Tatarstan, Dagestan, and Bashkortostan.
