Most Kirov residents prefer to take lunch to work from home

      The SuperJob service conducted a survey among Kirov residents to find out how they organize meals during the working day. It turned out that most employees prefer to bring food with them.

      Every second office worker takes lunch with them from home. Some of the employees eat in corporate canteens or go to city cafes and restaurants. Some return home to have lunch, and some use ready-to-eat delivery services. Women are more likely to bring food with them, while men are more likely to choose meals outside the home.

      Most remote workers have lunch at home. Some order food with delivery or go to the nearest establishments. At the same time, men on remote work more often go out to lunch in the city, while women prefer delivery.

      Every tenth Kirov resident uses ready-made lunch delivery services from time to time. Young people under the age of 35 do this more often than older people. Delivery is also becoming more popular among citizens with higher incomes.

      Traditional dishes remain more in demand than trendy food like pizza or sushi. Almost half of the respondents ordered soup or hot food the last time, one in four chose pizza, and one in five chose sushi and rolls. Some ordered salads.

      The average lunch at work in Kirov this year costs 640 rubles.
