The court upheld the renaming of streets

      After the end of the debate, the court retired to the conference room to make a decision. Ten minutes later, it was announced that the court had decided to reject the demands made by deputies Anastasia Vorobyova and Mikhail Kremlev to invalidate the decision of the Kirov City Duma.

      To this, elderly residents of Kirov, who came to the meeting as listeners, said: "Long live our Russian court, the most just and humane court in the world."

      Recall that on December 19, 2024, the Kirov City Duma, by a majority vote, decided to rename seven streets, some of which received historical names. This initiative caused a wide public outcry: Kirov residents expressed dissatisfaction with the decision-making process and possible inconveniences associated with the renaming. Later it became known that almost 4 million rubles would be spent on the installation of new address signs.
