       Before the upcoming All-Russian Sabantuy, organized by the regional authorities to celebrate the end of the sowing season in Tatarstan, the cost of renting apartments in Vyatka Polyany and surrounding settlements has increased significantly.

By the end of the month, specifically on May 23, we looked at the accommodation booking sites, where it turned out that on the dates of the Sabantuy, the entire room stock of all available Vyatka Polyana hotels was "sold out".

      According to our source from the regional government, not only hotels in Vyatka Polyany were booked, but also hotels in the settlements closest to Polyany.       For example, a studio apartment of 37 sq.m. with two beds cost 5 thousand rubles per day. A two-room apartment with four beds was offered for 7 thousand rubles per day. In general, according to all available daily rental offers for the Sabantuy period, the cost of apartments in Vyatka Polyany ranged from 5 thousand rubles for a studio to 10 thousand rubles for a two—room apartment.       A few days before the start of the Sabantuy, apartment rental offers in Vyatka Polyany continued to amaze. On Tuesday, June 24, there was one special offer for renting a studio apartment with an area of 30 sq.m. with two beds for... 19 thousand rubles per day. At the same time, judging by the photos of the interior of this apartment, repairs in the apartment cost about the same amount and were probably carried out 19 years ago, or even earlier: in the 90s of the last century.

      Odnushki and studios, which were rented out at 5,000 rubles a day in late May and early June, doubled in value. Now (if you try very hard and have time), you can rent a studio in Vyatsky Polyany for 10 thousand rubles on the days of Sabantuy.

      But a two-bedroom apartment, which at the end of May was trading for 15 thousand rubles per day, also doubled in price and is rented for 30 thousand rubles per day. At the same time, the tenant must also pay a deposit of 10 thousand rubles.

      It should be noted that rental housing in the center of Kirov varies from 2 thousand to 5 thousand rubles per day, depending on the house in which it is located and the repairs made in the apartment.

       By the way, it will be cheaper to rent a room in Moscow in a 4-star hotel than a one-bedroom apartment in Vyatsky Polyany in the coming "sabantuy weekend". For example, a hotel located one and a half kilometers from the center of the capital and 600 meters from the Arbatskaya metro station will cost about 7,500 rubles per day. A buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. And a hotel two kilometers from the center of Moscow and 550 meters from the metro station "Chkalovskaya" is even cheaper: 5 thousand rubles, also with a buffet breakfast.

      "This is nonsense"

      The price situation has also worried those who are familiar with Vyatka Meadows firsthand. So, a resident of Kirov, who lived in Vyatka Polyany many years ago, and now regularly visits relatives, confessed: "You shocked me with information about the cost of apartments." According to him, renting an apartment for 5,000 a day for a family is normal, but an apartment for 30,000 a day for two adults is "nonsense." He stressed that "this is all Sabantuy."

      Another person who wanted to give us a comment told us that usually an apartment in Vyatka Polyany can be rented for two or even three times cheaper. Apparently, the locals also want to make money, and Sabantuy is a chance to get a large sum of money. But guests from other regions, in his opinion, will not come to spend the night in a tent, especially considering that the hotel rooms have long been sold out, they will choose comfort.
