The government summed up the results of the heating season

      The Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Vladimir Klimentovsky, said that the heating season in the Kirov region passed without failures, and the number of accidents on the grid decreased by 20%. In addition, according to the minister, utilities worked faster in the last heating period: the average repair time dropped from 8 hours to 6 hours 41 minutes. Klimentovsky added that control over winter preparations has now been tightened: new rules have been introduced, and weekly monitoring of housing and utility networks is underway.

      As part of the Year of Housing and Communal Services in the Kirov region, it is planned to build three new boiler houses, upgrade almost 36 km of water supply networks and about 10 km of heating networks, purchase 53 boilers, replace chimneys, repair water supply facilities and build three sewage treatment plants.

      As it was announced at the meeting, all preparations for the heating season should be completed by September 15. Municipalities will receive 264.5 million rubles from the regional budget and additional funds from local budgets and extra-budgetary sources to prepare for winter.
