      We remind you that yesterday, on June 22, terrible news spread across the Kirov region: the body of a missing 10-year-old boy was found in a wooded area near the Prosnitsa railway station. It later turned out that the child had been stabbed to death by a 14-year-old teenager.

      So, the regional investigative committee told what happened on the fateful night. According to investigators, on the evening of June 21, a 14-year-old boy, while with a child in the woods near the station, stabbed a 10-year-old boy multiple times in the chest, neck and upper extremities during an argument. The child died on the spot from his injuries.

      Earlier it was reported that the minor was detained in violation of Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The investigation petitions the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the accused. The teenager was charged with committing a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
