Today, on June 18, the winners of the Award "Elite of education of the Kirov region" became known. The names of the winners were published by Alexander Churin, ex-Prime Minister, CEO of SE Selmash and founder of the Award, on his tg channel. "These are teachers from different parts of the Vyatka Region: Belaya Kholunitsa, Girsovo, Kilmez, Kirov, Slobodskoy, Yurya and more. One thing is important – each laureate is a Teacher with a capital letter who has dedicated his life to educating new generations," Alexander Churin noted.

It should be noted that this Award is not just a competition of professional skills, but a sign of public recognition. "It is important that significantly more people participated in the voting – this proves: The status of the teaching profession is growing, and their work is appreciated. It is especially gratifying that among the laureates there are teachers from small settlements, veterans of pedagogical work, and young teachers," Churin said.
The Award was established by Selmash Group of Companies. The total prize fund of the Award is 10 million rubles: ten winners will receive 1 million rubles each. By the way, the winners will receive the full amount: the payment of personal income tax from the award is taken over by Selmash Group.
In 2025, 45 teachers applied for the award: 22 teachers were nominated by educational organizations and 23 teachers were self-nominated.
