Interest in part-time employment has sharply increased in Kirov
The Kirov Region's labor market in 2025 is showing an active growth in interest in part-time employment. According to the platform hh.ru The number of applicants who want to work part-time or take on projects has increased by 70% in six months.
Since the beginning of the year, employers in the region have posted more than two thousand part-time vacancies. Most often, such offers relate to the professions of sellers, couriers, drivers and teachers. Income for such vacancies varies, but in some cases it can reach 150 thousand rubles per month. The average salary increased by 14% over the year and now stands at 43.1 thousand rubles.
Young Kirov residents aged 19 to 30 are particularly interested in the new employment format. For them, part—time work is a way to increase income or combine work with study. The share of resumes from teenagers and older applicants who are comfortable with flexible schedules is also growing.
Employers have a positive attitude towards temporary employees and actively involve them in projects. However, the part-time work of full-time employees causes concern. Many companies try to track such activity and offer internal options for additional earnings in order to retain specialists.
