The new version of the spare parts directory has risen in price by 2 percent
The new version of the directory of the average cost of spare parts entered into force on June 19, 2025 and showed an increase of 1.9% compared to the previous version, the Russian Union of Motor Insurers reported.
As noted by RSA President Evgeny Ufimtsev, spare parts for foreign-made cars have risen the most. For example, the cost of spare parts for Citroen increased by 13.8%, for Peugeot — by 12.9%. Spare parts for Nissan (+4.3%) and Hyundai (+3.9%) showed moderate growth. And for some brands, there is a decrease in the average cost of gloves. Spare parts for Ford (- 3%), Volvo (- 3.5%), Omoda (- 2.8%), Chery (- 4.0%) and Geely (- 8.5%) became cheaper.
"The results of the market research conducted in February — April of this year were used to create a new version of the reference books. The calculation of average prices for spare parts based on these results showed that for a number of demanded car brands, suppliers continue to increase the volume of offers of "non-original" spare parts that are of high enough quality to be used for repairs, which is provided for by the legislation on CTP," the RSA noted.
