In Kirov, the consequences of a sewer burst are being eliminated

      The owner of the networks promptly eliminates the consequences of the collapse of the soil at the sewer collector in order to minimize the consequences of the accident and the impact of sewage on the normal functioning of the main pumping station and the urban aeration station. An accident at the collector may lead to disconnection from the water supply in the south-western district of Kirov.

      When the organization's employees started work, it turned out that Avtokomfort, without the consent of the network owner, had poured a meter-long layer of soil and rubble into the exact place where the sewer is located in 4 years. Taking into account the pressure factor of the heavy trucks located here, the vibration of the soil, there was a collapse of the soil, which led to an accident on the collector.

      As we reported earlier, a similar situation occurred in April 2021. The owner of the networks appealed to the city administration with a request to prevent the operation of the site, as this could lead to damage to the sewer collector, but the city authorities ignored the request and allowed Avtokomfort to operate. The owner also demanded a check on the fact of the collapse of the soil in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, but was also refused. The response of the regional prosecutor's office was similar. Thus, the company faced not only the fact that it eliminated the consequences of the accident, which, in fact, was caused by third parties, but also the fact that neither the departments nor the authorities prevented its recurrence.

      "If the site where the sewer is located continues to be operated, the situation will repeat itself," state the employees who eliminate the consequences of the accident. "We managed to stabilize the situation and prevent overflowing, which could have paralyzed the sewerage system of the entire southwest of the city," they noted.
