Kirov residents told what phrases from vacancies annoy them
Every second resident of Kirov experiences irritation when reading job advertisements. According to a survey conducted by SuperJob, many phrases in vacancies cause negative emotions among applicants. The word "multitasking" causes the greatest rejection, which is associated with overload, substitution of other people's responsibilities and lack of fair pay.
In second place in terms of the degree of irritation is the phrase "stress tolerance". According to the respondents, it is often indicated even in those areas where emotional overload is not provided. Also, the mention of a "friendly team" does not inspire confidence, since in fact the atmosphere in such teams is often far from ideal.
Applicants also don't like vague phrases like "competitive salary" without specific figures, as well as cliches like "ambitious company". Anglicisms, abbreviations, and overly brief job descriptions cause additional irritation, making it impossible to understand the essence of the job and the level of pay.
The survey showed that transparency and honesty in the job text are still important for applicants. Formal patterns and veiled promises arouse distrust and alienate potential employees.
