As the regional government recalled, the construction of the school at 6A Torfyanaya St. is carried out under the national project "Youth and Children". The new school is designed for 1,100 students.
Alexey Zherdev, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kirov region, noted that the documentation of the technical part of this school had long received a positive expert opinion. Work on the facility is carried out in accordance with the project. "The documentation on the estimated cost confirms the total cost of the work, and after receiving a positive expert opinion on this part of the documentation, the contractor will receive budgetary funds for completed and accepted work, which will seriously accelerate the progress of construction," said Alexey Zherdev and added that the contractor intends to increase the pace of work from the end of June.
The school on Torfyanaya will have a modern sports and recreation complex with a 25-meter swimming pool, three gyms, an assembly hall, a library, a dining room with 550 seats, and several recreation areas. A stadium, various sports and playgrounds will be located on the school grounds.
