Kirov resident who attacked his mother with an axe was placed in custody for two months
On the evening of May 30, in the Novovyatsky district of Kirov, a 41-year-old man attacked his 78-year-old mother with an axe, hitting her on the head because of personal hostility. He was prevented from completing the crime by the police, who arrived on a report of a family conflict. The woman was urgently hospitalized, now she is under the supervision of doctors.
The attacker was detained and charged with attempted murder (Part 3 of art. 30, part 1 of art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Yesterday, on June 2, he was given a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months. Read more about the incident here.
