Emergency recovery work has been completed on the bridge over the Moloma River in the Kirov region. It is located on the federal highway R-243. Since May 28, passage across the bridge has been reopened for all types of vehicles with weight restrictions.
There is a reverse movement on the site, a traffic light is installed to regulate the flow of cars. The travel situation is assessed as stable, there are no serious delays, the government said at a meeting.
The Federal Administration of Roads "Prikamye", which manages the highway, plans to start designing major repairs of the bridge this year. Funds for this have already been provided.
The agency also plans to increase the volume of repairs of federal roads in the region. In 2025, it is planned to restore more than 100 kilometers of roadway in the Kirov region.
