According to the regional branch of the Bank of Russia, Kirov residents keep more than 287 billion rubles in banks. Over the year, the amount increased by almost 27%.
Most of the savings are ruble deposits. They account for more than 98% of the total volume, or 282.7 billion rubles.
According to experts, the growth of deposits is facilitated by a high key rate, as well as regular budget and social payments. These factors make it more profitable to keep money on deposits and curb demand for loans.
