Information about the flooding of the basement of house No. 8 on Ordzhonikidze Street appeared on social networks on May 27. Users reported a strong unpleasant odor and a large amount of sewage in the basement. The State Housing Inspectorate of the Kirov region promptly responded to the message and sent specialists to the scene of the incident.

At the time of the arrival of the specialists, the management company had already begun work to eliminate the accident.
By the evening of May 27, the emergency situation was localized, and the water was pumped out of the basement. In the near future, the management organization plans to dry and disinfect the premises. The State Housing Inspectorate continues to monitor the situation.
Earlier it was reported that there were up to 50 centimeters of sewage in the basement of the house, presumably of sewer origin. According to residents, the management company did not respond to complaints for a long time, and the smell of feces spread through the entrance. There were also traces of mold and rust in the basement.
