When hitting an animal, you should stop, turn on the "emergency light" and put up an accident sign. Then you need to make sure that your health and the health of the passengers are not in danger. If there are any injured, you need to call an ambulance. In addition, as in the case of a regular road accident, traffic police officers should be called to record the incident (even if the downed animal left the collision site on its own)," the experts said.
