The press service of the Uprdor "Prikamye" sent journalists to the cracked bridge

Just last week Newsler.ru I sent an official request to the Department of Internal Affairs "Prikamye" about the condition of the bridge over the Moloma, which was promised to open at the end of May. The reason for the appeal was insider information that a commission from Moscow allegedly came to the repair site. "Specialists examined the problematic span of the bridge leveled by express methods and said that "this will not work." Now the road workers will probably have to accomplish another feat, seriously getting down to business, and not just completely leveling, but repairing and strengthening the entire bridge structure. Perhaps the sagging span will even have to be completely replaced," the authors of the Spasskoe on the Pier public site reported, citing their sources.

In response to the request Newsler.ru the press service of the Uprdor "Prikamye" issued the following phrase: "Good afternoon! If you have a similar expert opinion, we would be interested to read it. And we are very sorry that the "commission from Moscow" informed you about its visit in the first place, and not us, the owners of the federal road" (the quote is given in full, there is correspondence in the editorial office – editor's note). It is very difficult to accept this verbal construction as an answer to the specific questions posed — in what condition is the bridge over the Moloma now, what kind of work needs to be done on the bridge so that it becomes accessible to transport, and the estimated time frame for the completion of bridge repairs and the opening of traffic on it, so we sent a repeated request with the same questions.

However, they received a different verbal construction in response, which also did not answer any of the questions asked. We were sent in a reply letter... to the bridge, where, according to the information of the Uprdor Prikamye, "Sergey Ivanovich Krasilnikov, deputy head of the FKU Uprdor Prikamye, will give a comment to journalists."

It should be noted that "comments for journalists" presuppose the presence of these very journalists. However, most of our colleagues from the local media informed us that they were "not aware of it and had not received any mailings or invitations." Moreover, the government of the Kirov region was also "out of the loop." As our source from the regional government informed us, "it seems that there will be some kind of meeting there, purely working, but we were not invited there." However, later we managed to find out that the deputy head of the FKU Uprdor "Prikamye" still plans to come and will come to the place of the cracked bridge over the Moloma. However, there will not be any press conference, the scope of which involves "comments for journalists," as the Department's press service kindly informed us: the trip is purely of a working nature and is intended rather to monitor the current progress of repair work, rather than summarize its results.

It is possible that the press service of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Updor Prikamye is not aware of the fact that, at a minimum, the rules of decency, and at most, the legislation require answering the questions asked. At least the ones that were sent to the department. Because the others probably won't get any answers. In particular, why didn't the press service of the Uprdor Prikamye officially refute the information about the arrival of the "commission from Moscow"? Why didn't she officially confirm the information that traffic on the Moloma Bridge will be open by the end of May, as previously reported? And why do the employees of the press service of the Prikamye Department persistently do not want to give answers to questions about the condition of the bridge and the progress of its repair?

The press service of the Uprdor "Prikamye" sent journalists to the cracked bridge

Instead of providing specific answers to specific questions, which, according to Russian law, government agencies are required to provide to official media inquiries, the press service of the Uprdor Prikamye continues to conceal information.
