RIA Rating analysts have published a study on the dynamics of wages in the regions of Russia. According to experts, in 2024, the nominal salary in Russia increased by almost 18.3%. At the same time, there is a significant disparity in the distribution of salaries across the country: according to the authors of the study, half of the employees in early 2025 received less than 56 thousand rubles per month, including personal income tax, while a significant number of employees had salaries of several hundred thousand rubles. "In general, the salary level is quite different from region to region, as well as in different industries," the authors of the rating report.
As for the Kirov region, our region is ranked 50th out of 85. The authors of the study estimated that half of the population of the Kirov region will receive a salary of 100,000 rubles or more (including purchasing power) in 5.8 years. And it will take 8.3 years for 75% of the region's population to receive a salary of 100,000 rubles.
It should be noted that Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District is in the first place of the rating. Half of the residents of this region already receive a salary of 100 thousand rubles. It will take 3.7 years for the salary to reach the specified amount for 75% of the AO population. In the second place of the rating is Chukotka. Half of the population of the Chukotka Autonomous District will be able to receive 100 thousand rubles in just 1 year and 2 months, and 75% of the population — in 5 years and 2 months. The Magadan region is in third place. In order for half of its residents to be able to have a salary of 100 thousand rubles, it will take only a year and a half, 75% of the population will be able to receive the specified amount after 5 or 3 months.
The Republic of Ingushetia is in last place in the ranking. Half of the residents of this region will be able to receive 100,000 rubles in 15 years and 4 months, and in order for 75% of residents of Ingushetia to be able to receive this amount, it takes 19 years and 3 months.
