Kirov region has increased supplies of forest products to other regions and abroad
From January to May 12, the Kirov region significantly increased the volume of exports of timber products. More than 100 cubic meters of house kits made of rounded softwood logs have been sent to Armenia. This is almost twice as much as in the same period last year. A large shipment of 35 cubic meters was shipped in April. All wood has passed laboratory control and received phytosanitary certificates confirming its safety and compliance with the requirements of the importing country.
The supply of planting material is also actively developing. Over the same period, more than 22 million spruce and pine seedlings were shipped from the region. The increase compared to last year was 24%. The main recipients were the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Nizhny Novgorod regions, Perm Krai, as well as Komi and Udmurtia. In May alone, 36,000 seedlings were shipped from the Oryol region, which passed all the necessary checks.
