Grieving for the fallen is not theirs.
It should be noted, according to official data, on May 9, 23 thousand Kirov residents came to pay tribute to the memory of those who died during the war and lay flowers at the Eternal Flame.
The next day, the workers did not just hurriedly shovel the blood-flower memorial tribute into garbage bags, but, not particularly skillfully grouping slightly wilted carnations into bouquets, stacked them as neatly as possible, heads up, in a black plastic container.
To the indignation of many Kirov residents, the workers replied that they were acting on the direct order of the head of the city administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, who ordered the flowers that had wilted to be removed from the Eternal Flame. At the same time, no one bothered to ask for the order signed by Simakov, and the hard workers did not demonstrate the outfit-a task that Vyacheslav Nikolaevich "blessed" the employees of the city Improvement Directorate for a blasphemous action on the all-Russian weekend. The townspeople simply defended the remains of the flowers laid, preventing them from completing what they had begun.
Some Kirov residents scolded the "flower harvesters" that stealing from the dead was a mortal sin. Others said that the flowers would be sold for a second time, as sad carnations can be revived with a drop of camphor and a little alcohol.
"I have lived in this world for so long, but I did not expect that I would ever see the destruction of the graves of fallen soldiers. Had seen... And not somewhere in the stupefied and brutalized west, but in his hometown, where the Eternal Flame burns like a memorial candle for 200 thousand dead. I have no doubt that the loot from the tombstone will be sold a second time. Such a bestial, insatiable grin... I can see these faces right now, with soldiers' blood dripping from their fangs," says a very upset labor veteran.
He added that dozens of people who came to the monument on May 9 saw with their own eyes how the governor's wife and son commemorated the fallen not with flowers bought "for their own", but with those purchased at the expense of the budget for the convenience of officials:
"The fatter the purses, the poorer and thinner the soul."On Sunday evening, May 11, all the flowers from the Eternal Flame were removed.

Grieving for the fallen is not theirs.
On May 10, when less than a day had passed since the hour of mourning and remembrance for the fallen in the Great Patriotic War, a group of workers began to dispassionately stuff thousands of carnations laid at the Eternal Flame into bags.
