The opening ceremony was attended by State Duma Deputy Oleg Valenchuk, head of the Malmyzh district Eduard Simonov, director of the Gazprom Gazprom Distribution Kirov branch Boris Sannikov, veterans, clergy, school students and caring residents of Malmyzh.
– Many thanks to the government of the Kirov region, headed by Governor Alexander Sokolov, who allocated more than 70 million rubles so that monuments could be repaired in municipal areas, – said Eduard Simonov. – Today I would like to say a huge thank you to State Duma Deputy Oleg Valenchuk for taking control of Gazprom's work into his own hands and bringing gas to us very quickly.

Let this fire burn in the hearts of our children, grandchildren, and our loved ones, reminding us that we are one Russia, regardless of faiths and nationalities," Oleg Valenchuk emphasized. – And the enemy will never break us if we are all together. And may this fire unite us!
The sounds of a brass band performing solemn marches and melodies created a special atmosphere of reverence and sorrow. The most touching and exciting moment of the ceremony was the passing of the torch from the young cadets and the lighting of the fire. After all, it's not just a flame, it's a reminder to each of us about the price of peace and freedom. This is a tribute to those who did not return from the battlefields, to those who worked in the rear, to those who raised the country from the ruins.
