Ex-director of the SCREAM Vitaly Shmakov was released
Today, on May 9, it became known that the ex-director of the SCREAM Vitaly Shmakov was released. On November 10, 2017, the court found Shmakov guilty of accepting a bribe and sentenced him to 8.5 years in prison in a strict regime colony. After the verdict, Vitaly Shmakov's defense filed an appeal, but the court did not satisfy the appeal, leaving the verdict of the first instance unchanged.
Vitaly Shmakov was appointed CEO of the Kirov Regional Mortgage Corporation on April 6, 2017. On May 30 of the same year, as soon as the man got out of the car of social activist Konstantin Sitchikhin, he was detained by law enforcement officers. According to investigators, for 5 million rubles, Shmakov promised to coordinate the assignment of rights to 43 apartments to Grazhdanovremstroy LLC at a reduced price due to the debt of the SCREAM. If the infamous developer, Avtospetsgarant, set the price at 36 thousand per square meter, then for GRS KRIK, being an equity holder, he reduced the cost to 28 thousand 250 rubles. The first part of the bribe - 3 million - was asked by Shmakov for the existence of a protocol of the Board of Directors with the aforementioned decision. The remaining 2 million were to be transferred to him after submitting all the documents to the regional chamber.
