The salary of Kirov bakers and pastry chefs has increased by 10,000, but still lags behind the national average.
Platform Specialists hh.ru We analyzed the labor market in the field of bakery and confectionery and found out how much the salary situation has changed in 2025.
From January to April, employers across Russia posted more than 66.7 thousand vacancies for bakers and confectioners. The average salary of specialists in this field in the country has reached 64 thousand rubles, which is 13.3 thousand more than in the same period of 2024. The growth is also noticeable in the Kirov region: over the year, the average income of bakers and pastry chefs increased from 40 to 50 thousand rubles. However, even with such an increase, salaries in the region remain below the national average.
At the same time, the demand for specialists in the Kirov region increased by 11%, which indicates a growing need for qualified personnel.
The highest salaries in this profession are offered in the extractive industry — over 110 thousand rubles. This is followed by metallurgy (more than 108 thousand) and industrial production (from 90 thousand rubles). Retail employers place the most vacancies — more than 20,000 ads or 41% of the total number. Catering establishments are in second place, which have opened more than 17,000 vacancies since the beginning of the year.
Among the highest—paying offers are the position of chef baker in Sochi (from 200 thousand rubles), work at a confectionery factory in St. Petersburg (up to 275.8 thousand rubles), as well as vacancies in Iturup, Kaluga and the village of Borodino.

During the year, salaries of Kirov bakers and confectioners increased by 10 thousand rubles and reached 50 thousand. However, this figure is still 14 thousand lower than the median salary in Russia.
