Rospotrebnadzor checked the air in Kirov
The Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Kirov region provided data on air quality in the region. In the first quarter of the year, experts conducted 1,498 air sample studies.
In Kirov, no excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants was detected. Despite this, a number of complaints were received from local residents. They concerned air pollution and unpleasant odors in the area of Sosheni settlement and Bolshaya Gora village, on Koltsov and Filatov streets, as well as in the area of Shchors and Ulianovskaya crossroads. According to all these signals, specialists went out to take samples and conduct air research.
In addition, on March 13, residents complained about the smell of manure exported to the fields near the village of Kochergintsy. Specialists from the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology went to the site and took air samples. The research results have shown that there are no violations.
