6 out of 10 Kirov residents are against the sale of beer at stadiums
According to Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev, the ban on the sale of beer at stadiums should be lifted, because it is part of the "culture of pain", and not a question of a healthy lifestyle. According to Degtyarev, those who want to drink before the match simply enrich the nearby shops.
At the same time, 59% of Kirov residents do not support this idea, only 20% are in favor of lifting the ban. Opponents argue that alcohol provokes inappropriate behavior: "I want to watch competitions, not drunken brawlers," "Drunk people can do things, it's better to stop the ban."
Supporters believe that responsible fans will not create problems: "Those who want to get drunk will find a way, and for most, a mug of beer will add color to the game."
Interestingly, men are more likely than women to support the return of foam drink sales to matches, while 65% of urban women are categorically against it. Among Kirov residents with incomes above 100 thousand rubles, every fourth (25%) agrees with the proposal of the Minister of Sports, while only 3 among respondents with salaries up to 50 thousand rubles.%
There are more supporters of returning beer to stadiums among active fans (24%) than among those who are not interested in sporting events (15%). Even among those attending matches, 56% are against it.
