Oleg Valenchuk Horticultural School completes the academic year in the districts of the Kirov region

      The end of the school year is associated for many with tension, a mountain of tests and anxiety about grades. But the Horticultural School, which has been operating in the Kirov region since 2011, has a completely different atmosphere. There is no stress, homework, or grades. The main incentive is the personal success of each listener, the desire for a rich harvest and a deep understanding of horticultural subtleties.

      - I've been going to classes for many years. And, of course, I try to put my knowledge into practice," says Ekaterina Lobova, a student at the Horticultural School in the village. The pressure. - For example, I started feeding onions, and they really got much better. I recommend everyone to go to classes. I have learned from my own experience that there is a lot of gardening experience, but not enough knowledge.

      The key to a School's success lies in its teaching staff. The lecturers are leading scientists and experienced agricultural practitioners. This allows students to gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical recommendations that have been proven over the years. The lectures cover a wide range of topics, from modern methods of growing vegetables and fruit crops to the peculiarities of soil science and plant protection from pests and diseases.

      At the end of the lectures, all the students received seed kits from the Russian Horticultural Union. The "disciples" say that these seeds produce friendly shoots and excellent fruits.

      – We have been using them on our plots for many years and always get a wonderful harvest, – said Farida Zinatullina, a long-time horticulturist in Malmyzh. – And the varieties are always good, just for our climate.

      On April 1, the long-awaited project "Oleg Valenchuk's Gardening School in touch" was launched, which has already managed to attract the attention of social media users who are passionate about this topic. In the official VKontakte group, you can ask any gardening-related questions and get prompt answers. The first video responses to questions from participants, as well as video recordings of past lectures, have already been posted on the community wall. This allows gardeners to turn to valuable recommendations and advice at any time.

      - The main task of the Horticultural School is not only to inform students about the methods of growing various crops, but also to provide updated data, - emphasizes Oleg Valenchuk. - It is important to give gardeners the opportunity to get first-hand answers to their questions. Each speaker, a teacher at the School, has a wealth of experience and is ready to share their knowledge, which makes learning as effective as possible.
