More than 1,600 hectares will be treated from ticks in the Kirov region

      The first stage of anti-mite treatment starts in the Kirov region on April 18. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Policy of the region Denis Ikonnikov at a meeting with the governor. According to him, an assessment of the condition of the territories was carried out before the start of the work.

      The head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, pointed out the need, first of all, to carry out acaricide treatment in places of mass residence of residents. He asked to pay special attention to the safety of people on the eve of Easter, May 1 and Victory Day.

      In total, it is planned to treat more than 1,600 hectares of territories from ticks in the Kirov region. More than 9 million rubles have been allocated from the budgets of municipalities for these purposes. In addition to the treatment itself, the green areas will be cleared of debris and dead wood, attention will also be paid to removing unwanted vegetation and general landscaping of settlements. The heads of municipalities were advised to complete these works by April 30.
