In the Kirov region, more than 28,000 certificates for the parent capital were proactively issued

      April 15, 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of the introduction of a proactive system for registering maternal (family) capital. During this time, the Department of the Social Fund of Russia in the Kirov region has issued more than 28.7 thousand certificates, of which 930 have been issued since the beginning of this year alone.

      Thanks to the proactive mechanism, residents of the region do not need to apply for maternity capital — the specialists of the Social Fund automatically establish the right to it based on information about the birth of a child received from the registry office. The notification of the certificate is sent to the parents in their personal account on the Public Services portal.

      You can also apply for the disposal of capital funds on the portal. The money can be used to improve housing conditions, pay for education, a funded pension, monthly payments for children under three years old, as well as to purchase goods for children with disabilities, or receive part of the amount as a lump sum if the balance does not exceed 10 thousand rubles.

      "Since 2007, when the maternity capital program appeared, more than 123 thousand certificates have been issued. Starting from February 1, 2025, the amount of maternity capital has been indexed. For the first child, it is 690 thousand 266 rubles. 95 kopecks. If a second child is born in the family, the family receives an additional payment of 221 thousand 895 rubles. 14 kopecks. If there was no right to maternity capital before, then at the birth of the second or any next child, parents can receive 912 thousand 162 rubles. 9 kopecks," said Nikolai Pasinkov, manager of the Social Fund Department for the Kirov region.

      Proactive provision of maternity capital is implemented within the framework of the concept of social treasury, an approach aimed at speeding up the allocation of payments and increasing the availability of support measures for families with children.
