According to the Kirov Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (CGMS), on the morning of April 14, the water level in Vyatka was 72 cm from the zero post. The water has gained 30 cm in the last 24 hours.
According to the Department of Civil Protection, there is currently no threat to the public — there are no cases of flooding of roads and adjacent territories. The first water outlet to low-lying areas, including in the village of Shirokovsky, is expected to reach a level of 330 cm.
The flood situation is under round-the-clock monitoring. If the water level rises to 300 cm, a daily alert will begin for residents of settlements located in the area of possible flooding.
