Kirov residents were reminded about the replacement of passports when changing personal data
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kirov region appeals to citizens planning to leave the country. Those who have changed their last name, first name, patronymic, gender, date or place of birth in accordance with the established procedure must replace their valid passport.
A document certifying the identity of a citizen of the Russian Federation abroad loses its relevance if the data indicated in it does not match the new ones. Therefore, its use becomes impossible when crossing the border.
The deadline for issuing a new foreign passport is one month when applying at the place of residence and three months when applying at the place of stay, actual residence, or for citizens with access to state secrets.
The agency recommends that you take care of replacing the document in advance to avoid trouble when planning trips.
