Residents of houses on Rudnitsky Street in Kirov were left without access after the reconstruction of the road for 71 million rubles.
The long-awaited renovation of Rudnitsky Street has been completed in Kirov, but the results of the reconstruction have had unpleasant consequences for residents of three private houses. The works carried out within the framework of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" in the amount of 71 million rubles included the repair of the roadway and the construction of sidewalks with ramps. However, due to the installed structures, residents of houses No. 22, No. 24 and No. 26 are now unable to drive up to their homes.
In front of their windows and doors stands an embankment with a height of more than 1.5 m, behind which there is a bicycle stand. As a result, emergency services, including firefighters, are unable to reach homes. It also creates difficulties for the transportation of building materials, firewood and other needs, including for pumping liquid waste from cesspools.
According to the residents, the designer did not go to the site, but the project was drawn up without taking into account the existing houses. Because of this, the documents did not provide a solution to the problem of the entrance.
The protesting residents appealed to the Popular Front, which has already sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office. The city administration says that initially it was technically possible to access the houses, but according to the traffic police, an all-terrain bike ramp was installed, which caused the problem. The administration promises to consider the possibility of resolving the situation at the second stage of construction, but residents are not satisfied with this response and believe that the requirements of the federal law on fire safety are being violated.
