A resident of Kotelnich will return to the colony for violating administrative supervision

      A 47-year-old local resident, who had previously been convicted of property crimes and evading administrative supervision, was sentenced in Kotelnich. She was again found guilty of violating the rules of supervision established by the court after her release from the colony.

      In June 2023, the Kotelnichsky District Court established administrative supervision for the woman until 2028. This imposed certain restrictions on her, in particular, a ban on leaving the territory of the settlement and staying outside her place of residence.

      Despite this, in the period from September to November 2023, the woman violated the prohibitions established by the court. In addition, she changed her permanent place of residence without informing the law enforcement authorities.

      After reviewing the case and taking into account the woman's previous convictions, the court found her guilty. She was sentenced to five months in prison. She will serve her sentence in a high-security penal colony. The woman was taken into custody in the courtroom. An attempt to challenge the verdict in the regional court was unsuccessful, and the court of appeal upheld the decision.
