A man who almost killed his roommate's son was detained in the Kirov region.
On the evening of April 8, a 63-year-old resident of Omutninsky district was at home with his roommate's 25-year-old son. At some point, a verbal conflict broke out between the men on domestic grounds, and the elderly man stabbed the young man several times in the stomach, neck and back, but the murder never happened, as the son of the roommate took the knife from the man and left the scene. Later, he went to the regional hospital for medical help.
A criminal case is being investigated against an elderly man on charges of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder). Now the accused has been detained, the investigation is petitioning the court to choose a preventive measure against him in the form of detention. The investigator of the Investigative Committee establishes all the circumstances of the incident, as well as collects and consolidates the evidence base.
