Roskadastr will receive new powers to manage real estate and land data
The State Duma of the Russian Federation has approved in the first reading a draft law developed by Rosreestr, which gives additional powers to the Roskadastr Control Committee. The organization will be able to carry out work in the regions to fill the Unified State Register of Real Estate (USRN) with complete and accurate information, as well as to facilitate the involvement of unused land plots in economic turnover.
As noted, high-quality and up-to-date EGRN data are of key importance for the social and economic development of regions, the implementation of investment and infrastructure projects, as well as for the protection of owners' rights. The bill provides for the possibility of involving Roskadaster in defining the boundaries of real estate, forming new plots, identifying the rights holders of previously registered objects and correcting registry errors.
According to the document, Roskadastr will be able to carry out work on the basis of agreements with the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and municipalities, based on their specific needs. This creates additional tools for spatial development of territories and improving the efficiency of land management.
