About 200 special vehicles are cleaning the roads of the region.

      According to the regional government, as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, difficult weather conditions remain in most areas of the region: sleet and rain are falling, and the air temperature ranges from +3 to +6 degrees.

      Due to the weather conditions, contractors have brought special equipment to the regional highways, which is engaged in the complete cleaning of roadways from snow. Structural elements of the roadway are also cleaned of snow, and roads are treated with anti-icing materials. The regional government noted that the work is carried out around the clock, taking into account the dynamics of weather changes.

      According to weather forecasts, rain and snow will last in Kirov and the region until the early morning of Wednesday, April 9. On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, April 10, snow and a drop in temperature to -2 degrees are forecast in the city and the region. The above-zero temperature, including at night, will return to Kirov on Saturday, April 12.
