Governor Alexander Sokolov announced the introduction of a new social support measure for citizens classified as "war children".

As reported during the meeting in the government, the new benefit will be timed to coincide with the upcoming 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It will give representatives of the category "children of war" the right to free access to the state museums of the Kirov region. This benefit will also apply to one accompanying person.
According to officials, many people from the category of "war children" are pensioners. The Government has been instructed to prepare all the necessary documentation for the early introduction of the support measure.
