Uranium will be released through Kirov pipes
To identify defects, starting on April 7 from Kirovskaya CHPP-5 and starting on April 14 from Kirovskaya CHPP—4, the Kirov branch of PJSC T Plus will begin testing a closed heat supply system using the Uranin A dye.
As explained in the city administration, the specific color helps to detect leaks and unauthorized water intake, to identify areas where mains water enters flooded channels and chambers. T Plus noted that the organic dye Uranin A complies with sanitary standards and regulations, is allowed to detect leaks in heating systems and is safe.
If yellow-green water is found, residents of Kirov are advised to call: 716-800, 744-901.
