Kirov raven may get the name "Cracker"

      Kirov continues to choose a name for the raven, which will not be able to return to the wild due to its injuries. The bird, who lives in the Bolshoe Gnezdo Animal Welfare Center, got there last summer with multiple wing fractures and chronic diseases.

      The staff of the center, having not come up with a name for the pet, turned to their subscribers on social networks for help. After a flurry of suggestions, a survey was organized, in which 195 people have participated so far. The voting has not been completed yet, but at the moment the name "Cracker" is leading by a large margin (21.54% of the votes), hinting at the raven's love of treats.

      Other popular options include "Chucha" (18.46%) and "Blackie/Blackie/Blackie" (15.9%). The rest of the names are still gaining significantly fewer votes.

      Let us remind you that the black crow chick likes to "chat" in its language, takes treats from its hands and loves when its beak and neck are scratched. Despite the fact that the raven does not fly and limps a little, he remains an inquisitive and active member of the "Big Nest". The name "Cracker" seems to be perfect for this special bird, however, the final decision belongs to the subscribers of the VKontakte group.
