Landscaping will be restored in Kirov before the May holidays after excavations

The Kirov administration held a meeting with participants of resource supply organizations, where they discussed plans to restore landscaping after the excavations. Dmitry Pechenkin, the first deputy mayor of the city, recalled the importance of putting the territories in order before celebrating the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

He noted that with the onset of spring, areas where landscaping had not been restored after the excavations became visible on the streets of the city. First of all, this applies to memorial areas in the historical part of Kirov and main streets. Dmitry Pechenkin demanded that the resource supply companies submit work schedules and ensure their completion as soon as possible.

Representatives of the Kirov branch of PJSC T Plus reported that 37 out of 47 excavations on water supply networks were not closed, 129 earthworks were carried out on heating mains, of which landscaping was restored at 45 sites. It is planned to complete work on the red lines and in the central part of the city before the May holidays, and by June 30 on the remaining sections.

In addition, they urgently ordered the removal of temporary wooden fences installed at the excavation sites, as well as to eliminate drawdowns on the roads, for example, at the intersection of Moskovskaya and Lenin streets.

"It is important that all work be completed before the start of repairs on roads and sidewalks within the framework of the national project Infrastructure for Life in order to avoid repeated violations of landscaping," Dmitry Pechenkin emphasized.
