Kirov resident stole 32 thousand from a beauty salon and went to a sauna

      In Kirov, police officers uncovered a theft committed at night in a beauty salon on Lenin Street. Employees of the institution, coming to work in the morning, found that the door had been broken into, and 32 thousand rubles had disappeared from the cash register. Surveillance cameras recorded how a man entered the room and took the money.

      During the operational measures, the criminal investigation department detained a suspect, a 37—year-old resident of Kirov, who had previously been convicted of theft. A few hours after the crime, he went to a nearby sauna, where he was detained by police officers. Some of the stolen funds were seized from the attacker, but he managed to spend the rest of the amount.

      A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft with illegal entry into premises). He was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation (Grounds for detention of a suspect), the issue of a preventive measure is being resolved.
