Sokolov accused Bikalyuk of lying, and Beresnev of pressure and slander.

Today, on March 27, when the deputies considered the issue of stray animals, Deputy Albert Bikalyuk already cited figures that caused confusion to many present. Among other things, he then said that the region feeds children for 37 rubles, and they want to keep dogs for 880 rubles.

After Children's Ombudsman Vladimir Shabardin spoke at the meeting, Bikalyuk cited these figures again.: "I want to ask you to help me convey to our government the need for indexation for children in vocational education. If today we feed 72 rubles in schools from 1st to 4th grade, then we feed 37 rubles for students. There they are for the presidential election, here they are for their own. That's why I'm asking you. There will probably be children fainting from hunger soon!"

Roman Beresnev, chairman of the ZS, was perplexed by this speech: "Albert Alexandrovich, you and I were at a professional educational institution together. It was shown there that this is a subsidy for food, then they buy more and that's it. We're just subsidizing the food supply."

Governor Alexander Sokolov, who was present at the meeting, sharply chastised Bikalyuk, raising his voice: "Colleagues, I rarely participate in discussions, but... Don't lie. Don't lie!!! This is a subsidy! And we don't feed them with this money! You're lying, I'm officially telling you! Call a spade a spade, this thing is called a subsidy! Do you want it to be canceled?!"

After a stormy speech by the head of the region, who was repeatedly interrupted by Bikalyuk, trying to explain his position, Beresnev urged him to express himself more correctly. Mamaev immediately stood up for him, and recently they have begun to have increasingly similar opinions on various issues. He suggested that Bikalyuk could simply have been given the wrong information in response to a deputy's request.

When Bikalyuk was allowed to speak into the microphone again, he did not comment on Sokolov's speech, but thanked him for his presence at the second part of the ZS meeting.

However, the showdown did not end there. Beresnev said that, according to his information, Bikalyuk could allegedly put pressure on the commissioner to adjust his speech. Shabardin replied that no one had put pressure on him and that he had just been asked questions about what all deputies could do. Beresnev objected: "I consider it pressure. And when you talk about 37 rubles, in my opinion, this is slander." He added that when discussing animals, Bikalyuk could also use unreliable figures.
