The interregional stage of the All–Russian futsal competition "Leather Ball - School Football League" brought together teams from various regions of Russia. The competition was held from March 4 to March 6 among girls born in 2009-2010. The Kirov region was represented at this tournament by the team of the Secondary School with the UIOP of Zuyevka. The athletes from Zuyevka took the second place in the competition.
It is worth mentioning Valeria Surikova, who was recognized as the best scorer of the tournament.

In the period from March 5 to March 8, the final stage of the Phoenix Cup tournament among the teams of boys born in 2010 took place in Togliatti. The Phoenix Cup tournament is one of the most prestigious competitions for young basketball players in Russia. This year, in the Superfinal among the teams of boys born in 2010, the Kirov region was represented by the team of Secondary School No. 1. Participation in the tournament began with the group stage, where Kirov residents took the second place.
In the semifinal match, our team of Secondary School No. 1 lost to SSHOR No. 49. However, in the final meeting with the owners of the SSHOR No. 2 parquet, the Kirov basketball players were able to win with a score of 50:52. This result allowed them to take a place in the top three teams and win bronze medals.
