Mold at home. What happens and what is dangerous
The appearance of mold at home is a signal of increased humidity or dampness. Thus, mold of the genus Cladosporium differs in that it can grow at lower temperatures: on windows or in the refrigerator. Fungi of the genus Stachybotrys are called "black mold". They grow on materials containing cellulose: wood, drywall, wallpaper, paper, and books. Especially when these items are moistened.
The Doctor of Biological Sciences added that mushrooms can cause allergies, which are usually caused by inhalation or ingestion of mold particles on the mucous membranes. In addition, fungi can produce toxins that cause painful reactions in humans and animals.
