79.3% of Russians trust Putin

      The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) has published the results of a weekly survey conducted from March 3 to March 9, 2025. According to the data, the approval rate of the President of the Russian Federation was 77.2%, an increase of 0.5 percentage points over the week. The level of confidence in Vladimir Putin also increased, reaching 79.3% (+0.6 percentage points).

      Assessments of the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the Russian Government remained virtually unchanged, amounting to 53.1% (-0.1 percentage points) and 52.4% (0.0 percentage points), respectively. At the same time, the level of trust in Mikhail Mishustin remained at the same level — 61.6%.

      Interesting changes have occurred in the ratings of confidence in the leaders of the opposition parties. Gennady Zyuganov (KPRF) showed an increase in confidence to 34.1% (+1.4 percentage points), Sergey Mironov ("Fair Russia — Patriots — For Truth") — to 30.6% (+3.7 percentage points), and Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) — to 23.8% (+2.3 percentage points). Alexey Nechaev (New People) also recorded an increase, reaching 10.1% (+1.2 percentage points).

      United Russia leads the party rating with 34.9% support, but its figure decreased by 0.4 percentage points. LDPR ranks second with 10.5% (-0.7 percentage points), and the Communist Party is almost equal. with her, gaining 10.4% (+0.4 percentage points). "New People" maintain stable support at 6.6%, while "Fair Russia — Patriots — For Truth" received 4.4% (+0.4 percentage points).
