Kirov resident's car was taken away for 2.2 million rubles

      On November 16, a 37-year-old resident of Kirov illegally drove a Jetour Dashing car, he rode through the streets of the city until he was stopped by police officers. When checking the man's identity, it turned out that he had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act related to traffic violations (Part 1 of Article 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, Part 4 of Article 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). At that time, he was deprived of the right to drive vehicles.

      This time, the Kirov resident was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive vehicles). The court agreed with the prosecutor's opinion and imposed a fine of 150 thousand rubles on the violator, and also forbade him to drive a car for 1 year and 6 months. In addition, at the request of the state prosecutor, the court applied the provisions of art. 104.1 of the Criminal Code (confiscation of property), converting Jetour Dashing, worth 2.2 million rubles, into state ownership.
