Maria Butina was invited to the State Council Commission
"During the meeting with the Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha, we were offered to join the commission under the State Council of the Russian Federation on personnel, as well as become co-chairman of the subcommittee that promotes the resettlement of citizens from abroad," Maria Butina said on her tg channel.
She noted that it was a great honor for her to become a member of the commission and work in the same team with Vladislav Valeryevich. "Kaluga Region is an advanced region. We had the opportunity to assess during our work trips that there is experience in adapting and integrating foreign citizens into our society who share our spiritual, moral and cultural values," Butina said.
The deputy said that the tasks of the subcommittee will include socio-cultural adaptation, including learning the Russian language and getting acquainted with local traditions. They will also provide legal support to foreign citizens in processing documents and explaining migration legislation, and help them build cooperation with law enforcement agencies and businesses to manage processes related to the relocation of migrants from abroad to Russia.
"The sub—commission also plans to develop international cooperation to regulate the flows of foreign migrants and introduce best regional practices to facilitate resettlement," Maria Butina added.
